Over a number of years I have participated on email loops where math issues have been discussed. As my own methods have developed, several questions seem to crop up repeatedly and I've attempted to put q&a regarding these issues in one central location. This is a work in process (as am I!) so please view these in that spirit as I try to condense and summarize these postings.
